Volleyball Recap: Oakland Unity Takes a Loss

Oakland Unity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Leadership, falling 3-0. If Oakland Unity was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Leadership when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oakland Unity took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-15.

Oakland Unity's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Leadership, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Oakland Unity will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on AIMS College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on April 21. As for Leadership, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Skyline at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
