After flying high against Desert Heights Prep on Friday, Antelope came back down to earth. Antelope fell just short of Desert Heights Prep by a score of 9-8 on Friday. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kayleigh Tillou made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaina Jaime, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Tillou wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Antelope kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive games.

Antelope's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Desert Heights Prep, they moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Antelope will face off against Sequoia Pathway Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Desert Heights Prep, they will take on Ray at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Desert Heights Prep is facing Ray at the right time seeing as Ray is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
