Thomas Nelson lost against Nelson County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Generals had to suffer through a 48-7 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. The Generals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Trenton Johnson threw for 51 yards on four of 14 attempts.

Thomas Nelson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Nelson County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
