Recap: Victory College Prep Bulldogs vs. Franklin County Wildcats
The Victory College Prep Bulldogs suffered their biggest defeat since November 30, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Franklin County, falling 72-45. If Victory College Prep hoped to take revenge for the 52-31 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Eli Butt had an outrageously good game for Franklin County as he scored 21 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Butt has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Carson Allen, who scored 12 points.
Victory College Prep has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Franklin County, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory College Prep will square off against Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Westfield's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Franklin County, they will head out on the road to face off against Talawanda at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Talawanda is on a three-game streak of home losses, Franklin County a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
