Baseball Game Preview: Brilliant Tigers vs. Berry Wildcats

For the second straight game, Brilliant will face off against Berry. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brilliant's hitters haven't had much luck over their past five games, but Thursday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Brilliant's offense. They came up short against Berry on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

For Berry's part, Lake Norris was a standout: he scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. John Wesley Scarbrough was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Berry and bumps their season record up to 9-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Brilliant, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
