Softball Recap: Pendleton Comes Up Short

Pendleton fell victim to Baker/Powder Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. The Buckaroos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 9-7.

Pendleton's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-7. As for Baker/Powder Valley, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

While Pendleton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
