It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Coast Union ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies 14-13. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Coast Union's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Coast Union will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Orcutt Academy at 3:30 p.m. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Laton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.81 runs per game on average), something the Grizzlies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
