Halstead waltzed into their matchup on Monday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came out on top against the Chaparral Roadrunners by a score of 2-0. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Roadrunners, too.

Halstead not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Chaparral between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Halstead's offense was headlined by Katharine Engel and Bailey Bernal, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Jordy Schroeder and her 29 assists. Daynica Euwer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Halstead's victory bumped their record up to 32-5. As for Chaparral, their loss dropped their record down to 20-18.

Halstead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Caney Valley on the 20th. As for Chaparral, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Kingman on the 20th.
