Baseball Game Preview: Jackson Red Devils vs. Heard County Braves

The Jackson Red Devils will start their season against the Heard County Braves. First pitch is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Heard County is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost 13-1 to Whitewater on Friday.

Heard County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

As for Jackson, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 8-24.

Jackson couldn't quite finish off Heard County when the teams last played back in March of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can Jackson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
