 The Rocky Hill Country Day Mariners had to endure  a  four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding  56-28 win over Hopkins on the road. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  37-16.
 Rocky Hill Country Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Sophie Mahar led the charge by  dropping  a double-double on 14 points and ten  rebounds. The  match was  Mahar's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addison Mahar, who  scored 14 points along with six  rebounds.
 Rocky Hill Country Day's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Hopkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Rocky Hill Country Day won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Hyde at 10:00  a.m.  on December 17th. Hopkins will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on MacDuffie at 4:00  p.m.  on January 10, 2024.
