Recap: Christian Liberty Academy Canefire vs. Pahoa Daggers
On Saturday, Christian Liberty Academy took a serious blow against Pahoa, falling 62-18. Christian Liberty Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-12.
Pahoa's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaumuali'i Gancinia led the charge by scoring 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gancinia has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Charly Effiny, who scored ten points.
Christian Liberty Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Pahoa, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
Christian Liberty Academy will head out on the road to square off against Honoka'a at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pahoa, they will be playing at home against Waiakea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waiakea is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
