Baseball Recap: Olympic Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Olympic's offense. They lost 16-0 to the South Mecklenburg Sabres on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Sabres: they've now lost three in a row.

Olympic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Mecklenburg, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Olympic will be playing in front of their home fans against Harding University at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Mecklenburg, they will face off against Hough at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Mecklenburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.
