Van Vleck hadn't done well against Columbia recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Leopards walked away with a 2-0 win over the Roughnecks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Thursday.

Van Vleck not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Columbia to exactly 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17.

Van Vleck is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Columbia, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
