Game recap: Paramus defeated by Lakeland Regional

Paramus (N.J.) fell 24-7 to Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, N.J.).

The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at seven. The Lancers took the lead for good on a field goal with 5:00 left in the third quarter.

Raymond Nyhuis played well for Lakeland Regional in the victory. The junior tight end kicked three extra points.

The Spartans' Jeffrey Carpenter was the standout player for his team. The senior.

Paramus' lone touchdown came on a 10-yard run in the second quarter.



LR got revenge for last year's 41-23 loss to PHS with the victory.

With the win the Wanaque school extended its winning streak to three games.

Lakeland Regional (3-0) goes up against Teaneck in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Paramus (0-2) locks horns with Northern Highlands in a Big North - Colonial game.
