Basketball Recap: Suitland Takes a Loss

Suitland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 70-42 defeat at the hands of the Largo Lions. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Lions are ranked 106th).

Suitland's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Largo, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Coming up, Suitland will venture away from home to square off against North Point at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Point will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Suitland surely won't give up without a fight. Largo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
