Football Recap: Traip Takes a Loss

Traip was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls, falling 50-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rangers of the 72-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Traip's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Old Orchard Beach, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Coming up, Traip will face off against Telstar at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rangers will need to watch out since the Rebels have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Old Orchard Beach, they will square off against Cape Elizabeth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Seagulls will be up against the Capers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
