Baseball Recap: Leigh Longhorns vs. Westmont Warriors

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Willow Glen, Leigh was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Westmont Warriors 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Longhorns have posted since April 11th.

Damian Hernandez was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
