Softball Recap: Post Falls Takes a Loss

If Post Falls was feeling good fresh off their 13-1 takedown of Liberty Christian last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Post Falls fell just short of the Lewiston Bengals by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Bengals: they've now lost eight in a row.

Post Falls saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McKenna Zimmerman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Post Falls now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lewiston, their record is now 4-5.

While Post Falls had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
