It was a good run, but Knob Noster unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 61-60 to the Concordia Fighting Orioles. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Orioles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Knob Noster's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Concordia, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knob Noster will venture away from home to challenge Lexington at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Lexington has won six straight at home, while Knob Noster won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Concordia, they will face off against Wellington-Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Concordia is facing Wellington-Napoleon at the right time seeing as Wellington-Napoleon is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
