Volleyball Recap: First Presbyterian Day Falls to Mary Persons in First Game of Season

First Presbyterian Day had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Mary Persons Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

First Presbyterian Day started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 15-10.

The victory got Mary Persons back to even at 1-1.

First Presbyterian Day didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Calvary Christian on the 5th. As for Mary Persons, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Stratford Academy on the 5th.
