Volleyball Recap: Chugiak's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Chugiak came into Friday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Shadle Park Highlanders on Friday.

Audrey Parks paced Chugiak's offense, picking up six kills. Parks got some help from Oliviya Rodriguez and her 13 assists. Parks also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kinley Jo Adams, each putting up two.

Chugiak's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Shadle Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, Chugiak and Shadle Park will both be playing Jackson the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Timberwolves at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Highlanders will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
