Baseball Recap: Berne Union Takes a Loss

Berne Union was the 6-3 winner over Fairfield Christian Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets lost 8-2 to the Knights on Wednesday.

Berne Union saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Moore, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Berne Union's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Fairfield Christian Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Berne Union will challenge rival Grove City Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fairfield Christian Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Fisher Catholic at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
