Softball Recap: Pittsford Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Pittsford barely beat Honeoye Falls-Lima the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Cougars 16-1 on Thursday. The matchup marked the Panthers' most dominant victory of the season.

Pittsford's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Honeoye Falls-Lima, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Looking ahead, Pittsford will face off against Eastridge at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Honeoye Falls-Lima does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
