Football Recap: Tomball Memorial Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tomball Memorial extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-3. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 67-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Klein Forest Eagles. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for Klein Forest, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Klein Forest to victory were Dejaune Etheridge and James Robinson. Etheridge gained 313 total yards and six touchdowns, while Robinson threw for 361 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. With that strong performance, Etheridge is now averaging an impressive 105.8 rushing yards per game. Jakaree Jones also helped out as he racked up 109 receiving yards.

Tomball Memorial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-13 defeat against Klein Collins on the 10th. As for Klein Forest, they have also already played their next game, a 50-6 loss against Magnolia on the 10th.
