Volleyball Recap: Guadalupe Centers Takes a Loss

Guadalupe Centers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 35th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Oak Park Northmen. If the Aztecs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Northmen when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Guadalupe Centers' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Oak Park, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Guadalupe Centers has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Grandview on the 21st. As for Oak Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lincoln College Prep on the 19th.
