Wheaton-Warrenville South faced Benet Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Redwings 2-1. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Redwings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Wheaton-Warrenville South is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for Benet Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 17-5.
