Baseball Recap: Brindlee Mountain Comes Up Short

Brindlee Mountain lost against Ider last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Brindlee Mountain Lions lost 14-4 to the Ider Hornets. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brindlee Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Ider, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Brindlee Mountain Lions challenge Woodville Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ider, they will face off against Fyffe at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
