Recap: Centennial Eagles vs. Central Cobras
The Centennial Eagles pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central. It was the first time this season that Centennial let down their fans at home.
Centennial's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jailyn Williams, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Parson, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Even though they lost, Centennial were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central only posted three assists.
It was another big night for HARMON RANDOLPH, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and five steals for Central. RANDOLPH is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
