Basketball Game Preview: Roxana Shells vs. Breese Central Cougars + How To Watch

Roxana is 0-8 against Breese Central since January of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Shells will challenge the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Roxana will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Roxana is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Freeburg with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 63-46.

Roxana's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiden Stemm, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Stemm has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 54% every time he's hit the court this season. Sean Maberry was another key player, shooting 67% from the field on his way to 19 points.

Meanwhile, Breese Central earned a 63-50 win over Sparta on Tuesday.

Roxana's record is now 7-1. As for Breese Central, their record now sits at 5-1.

Roxana was taken down by Breese Central 65-36 in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Shells avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
