McDowell kept a clean sheet against Erie on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Royals with a sharp 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for McDowell, who have now won nine matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

McDowell is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those six matches. As for Erie, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

McDowell wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against State College on the 1st. Erie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
