Volleyball Recap: Ripon Wins Going Away Against Westfield Area

Ripon not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 5, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Westfield Area Pioneers 3-0.

Ripon was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-9, 25-16.

Rayna Trochinski had a dynamite game, getting 14 digs and three aces. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had over her last five games.

Trochinski wasn't the only good server: Ripon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Ripon's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-3. As for Westfield Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Ripon will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Wisconsin Dells at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westfield Area, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Cambria-Friesland at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
