Volleyball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Carroll Patriots. Considering the last time the 76ers couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9, 25-8.

Carroll found their leader in sophomore Ryan Snizik, who had 15 digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Snizik.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.

As of now, neither Independence nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
