Reidsville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the McMichael Phoenix to the tune of 86-35. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Reidsville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Johnniyus Sharpe, who went 13-for-20 to rack up 31 points and three steals. That's the most points Sharpe has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dionte Neal, who almost dropped a triple-double with 14 points, ten assists, and nine steals.

Reidsville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 51 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, McMichael saw an underclassman step up: sophomore JJ Tatum earned 14 points.

Reidsville's victory was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.1 points. As for McMichael, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Reidsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 87-45 win against Morehead on the 12th. As for McMichael, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 62-50 defeat against North Forsyth on the 12th.
