Coal Ridge extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Diego Gamez. The Titans simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Summit Tigers 71-34 for which the team can thank Gamez, who went 7-for-14 en route to 21 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Gamez is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Coal Ridge's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Coal Ridge will venture away from home to square off against Cedaredge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit, they will be home for the holidays to greet Lake County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
