Volleyball Game Preview: Caliche Buffaloes vs. Holyoke Dragons

Caliche is 0-10 against Holyoke since September of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Buffaloes will venture away from home to challenge the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Caliche comes in on nine and Holyoke on eight.

Caliche barely beat Weldon Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Buffaloes put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. While the Buffaloes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Caliche walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Holyoke faced McClave in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Dragons won by a set and slipped past the Cardinals 2-1.

Caliche's record now sits at 9-0. As for Holyoke, their record is now 12-2.
