Volleyball Recap: Encinal Takes a Loss

Encinal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Berkeley Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-10, 25-20.

Encinal's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Berkeley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Encinal is set to take on their familiar foe Castro Valley at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Berkeley will face off against rival Piedmont at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
