Basketball Recap: Spencer Center Takes a Loss

Spencer Center played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Newton Local Indians, falling 51-18. The matchup marked Spencer Center's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Spencer Center dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Newton Local, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spencer Center will square off against DePaul Cristo Rey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newton Local, they will take on Franklin Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
