Baseball Recap: Douglas Victorious

The Douglas Bulldogs earned an 11-7 win over the Casa Grande Cougars on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Emiliano Fimbres was a standout: he scored a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Robert Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Douglas was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Casa Grande, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
