Volleyball Preview: East Hardy Cougars vs. Union Tigers
After three games on the road, East Hardy is heading back home. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cougars takes on the Union Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Hardy will be strutting in after a win while Union will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Saturday, East Hardy was able to grind out a solid victory over Jefferson, taking the game 2-0.
East Hardy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15.
Meanwhile, Union was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tucker County.
The final score came out to 25-7, 25-11.
East Hardy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season. As for Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
