Basketball Game Preview: Pine Grove Panthers vs. New Site Royals

The Pine Grove Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the New Site Royals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Pine Grove is leaving town to face New Site after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Panthers took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Houlka on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, New Site lost to West Union at home by a 66-51 margin on Tuesday. The Royals have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Pine Grove was able to grind out a solid victory over New Site when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 44-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
