Football Recap: Joseph City Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Mogollon + How To Watch

Joseph City faced Mogollon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats were beaten by the Mustangs 76-30. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 67-20 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Kase Fish threw for 219 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes. J.D. Miller was his top target, picking up 203 receiving yards and three scores.

Mogollon found their leader in sophomore Jett Reidhead, who picked up 35 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Brody Porter was another key player, rushing for 30 yards and a pair of scores.

Joseph City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Mogollon, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

As of now, neither Joseph City nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
