Liberty entered their tilt with Willow Springs on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Liberty had a senior duo take command as Kinsey Shoup had 16 digs and five aces and Jade Acklin had 12 digs and three assists. Shoup has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Liberty was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive matchups.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 21-8-4. As for Willow Springs, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 20-8-3.

Liberty has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Hollister on the 25th. Willow Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
