Volleyball Recap: South Sevier's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Six

South Sevier had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Grand County Red Devils by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

South Sevier walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 20-25, 25-11.

Kinsey Parsons paced South Sevier's offense, picking up 25 kills. Parsons got some help from Cooperlynne Green and her 40 assists. Matti Sorensen controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

South Sevier's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Grand County, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

South Sevier has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against San Juan on the 13th. As for Grand County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Parowan on the 13th.
