Basketball Recap: St. Louis Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Louis can now relate to. They fell just short of the Punahou Buff n' Blue by a score of 43-40 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Crusaders have suffered since January 25, 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Louis fell to 28-1. As for Punahou, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.

While St. Louis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
