East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 42-26 bruising from the Southeast Knights. One positive for East, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Southeast, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Van Horn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. East is facing Van Horn at the right time seeing as Van Horn is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Southeast, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Excelsior Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
