Abington Heights barely beat North Pocono the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Comets were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Trojans on Tuesday. Considering the Comets have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Abington Heights let Thomas LaCoe and Evan Gonzalez run wild. LaCoe got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs, while Gonzalez got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases LaCoe has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Locker, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

The Comets will take on Scranton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (24 vs. 299). Meanwhile, North Pocono (ranked 206th) will meet Valley View (ranked 511th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
