The Augusta Southeastern Suns's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 58-29 loss at the hands of Illini West. Augusta Southeastern was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-9.

Tre Neiderman was a one-man wrecking crew for Illini West as he scored 16 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Neiderman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Wesley Robertson, who scored ten points.

Augusta Southeastern dropped their record down to 6-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Illini West, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Augusta Southeastern will be playing at home against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Illini West, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
