Basketball Recap: Stockbridge Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Stockbridge proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 33) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the South Cardinals onto the board and left with a 2-0 win. The two-point effort marked Stockbridge's lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Stockbridge's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-8. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.7 points per game. As for South, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record.

Stockbridge will face off against Gresham Community at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Milwaukee Vincent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milwaukee Vincent's defense has only allowed 18.5 points per game this season, so South's offense will have their work cut out for them.
