Baseball Recap: Carlinville Cavaliers vs. Hillsboro Hiltoppers

Carlinville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 11-1 walloping at the hands of the Hillsboro Hiltoppers. Carlinville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hillsboro apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Bryce Widner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
