Soccer Recap: Ambridge Takes a Loss

Ambridge managed to keep up with Montour until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bridgers lost 5-2 to the Spartans. That's two games in a row now that Ambridge have lost by exactly three goals.

Ambridge has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season. As for Montour, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ambridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Chartiers Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Montour will take on rival West Allegheny at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
